Despite our focus on product innovation, at our core, Magic is a company that designs custom windows and doors for Ontario’s extreme climate. Magic was scoped with manufacturing and installing a high performance window and door system that could withstand the extreme weather fluctuations of the Moon River Peninsula, while also adhering to the home’s rustic Muskoka architecture. Above all, our windows needed to maximize natural light and views to the outdoors while providing exceptional solar protection, too.
XL glass production.
The desire to maximize views to the outdoors is becoming increasingly popular in residential home design. Magic’s in-house glass assembly allows us to create the strongest, longest lasting, and energy efficient glass units specific to Southern Ontario’s extreme climate. The custom, 14 ft long triangular shapes feature 8mm tempered safety glass and high performance coating to maximize durability and efficiency.
Hybrid Fusion Frame technology.
It’s become evident that existing frame materials simply don’t cut it anymore. Magic has a deep association with aluminum and steel window systems and we understand the benefits that accompany strong, thermally broken frames. We also understand the increasing need for low maintenance, high performance materials such as PVC. This is why we developed Hybrid Fusion Frame technology - a proprietary frame design that gives you the thermal performance, low maintenance, and affordability of a high grade resin vinyl with the added strength of steel and aluminum.
Exceptional planning.
The site location made it impossible for any heavy machinery to be transported to the job site. Significant planning by both Magic’s production and installation teams allowed for a seamless installation with minimal disruption to the construction zone.

A variety of extra-large glass sizes and thicknesses requires highly specialized glaziers during transportation and installation.

A screen, when you need it.
Insect screens reduce natural light and views to the outdoors by 50%. Magic’s patented retractable bug screen is integrated into all of our windows & doors so that cottage go-ers can enjoy clearer, brighter views to the outdoors.
Integrated solar shades.
Large glass surfaces make homes uncomfortable on hot and sunny days. All of our windows and doors feature a patented retractable solar shade, which blocks 97% of unwanted ultra-violet rays from entering a home.
Smooth operation.
The west facade of the property features two 15ft sliding patio doors that overlook the entire bay. The Magic sliding patio door features eight stainless steel wheels on an elevated stainless steel track, which ensures a high level of functionality and ease of use for the entire life of the product.
Less frame, more glass.
Magic’s ultra-slim hybrid fusion frame technology creates larger glass surfaces by reducing the thickness of the frame profile.
